A Serene Evening Unfolding at Ananda Cafe

Just on the side of Juhu’s lively beach, Ananda Cafe welcomes an ambiance that is both calm and exciting. In a Sunday evening wander, I chose to interact with the coastal breeze and panoramic view creating an ambience for observing all kinds of things.

5:30 pm - Coastal Charms:
At half past five, as the hands struck on the clock, the cafe opened its priceless highlight – an extensive view of the beach. Wanderers came in with rapt eyes, turning their gazes around the coffee shop while finally succumbing to the lure of an adjoining beach.

5:40 pm - Teenage Tales:
A lively bunch of teenagers, by the side of the beach entrance would whisper to each other about their weekend adventures and college misadventures. Their camaraderie reverberated to laughter as the lively background was provided in the serene environment by a coastal setting.

5:50 pm: Innocence by the Shore:
At the same time, I noticed a moment of warmth: a child no older than three or four romped along with his parents on the coastal strip. The child’s zeal to share snacks had a ring of truth, reminiscent distant past when youthful innocence ruled and giving was given the place it deserved.


6:00 pm - Freelancers' Oasis:

New customers frequented the cafe’s inside especially freelancers, who carefully used it for their work. The cameras started recording and content production began, turning the cafe into an unplanned studio for budding influencers.

6:15 pm - Welcoming Smiles:
There was a friendly custodian of hospitality standing behind the reception desk. Her welcoming attitude extended beyond mere transactions to warm the heart and greet everyone entering. It was made a little world of the cafe’s philosophy – happiness in small acts.

6:30 pm - Meditative Conversations:
Walking casually through the cafe I found a meditation center in it was occupied by ladies who were engrossed in meditative discussion. The conversations were smooth and natural, talking about the intricate texture of life and the delicate responsibilities that bound their lives together.

6:40 pm - Streetside Vignettes:
When I was about to leave Ananda Cafe, the busy streets outside unraveled a new story. A representative of the cityscape’s incongruity was an unskilled vendor decked out with balloons and holding a ten-month-old child on her lap.

Within one hour Ananda Café, the strategically located beachside café endeavoured to complete a mosaic of life’s stories- daredevil teenage laughter to solemn meditations and digital freelancers creating their realms. As a silent witness, the cafe delicately stitched together each unique thread of Mumbai’s vibrant culture strands; passersby were invited to observe life ebb and flow within one of India’s most recognized locales.
